That’s true. I fucking hate vista. XP’s ok. I run both on my rig. I use OSX for my general day-to-day things and XP for games.

i bought one actually its quite good though, but mine was a latest model of hp2230s…
it has 2.0ghz/2gb ram( i upgrade it to 4gb ram)
built-in camera & bluetooth….

but the cons of this is the battery it has only a 4cell li-on (but i want to upgrade it to 8cell li-on…)
and also i never recommend using the mouse synaptic touchpad bcoz the natural color will fade eventually, so i still recommend using usb mouse or wireless mouse but all in all its a great notebook…
I’m getting this laptop for school. All year 8 students including me needs to have this. But our version has a cera and Bluetooth.

he guys i have a question i too have a compaq notebook and the air vent in the back tends to get very hot over time. i was wondering if this is normal cause the vent is like on full throttle. is there something i can do?

I got one 2230s for school. It’s a must. I got a 8 cell battery. It sucks. The whole laptop is even heaver that the battery. I really wanna destroy the laptop!!
I also got a HP2230s from school, here in Sweden, and i must say that it is a cool lptop i love it and about that battery thing, it cant even be awake at 2 hours at the most. is that to you aswell?
